Power System

Automobile power system is composed of engine system and transmission system.

1. The engine assembly is composed of two major mechanisms and five major systems. The two mechanisms are: including the crank connecting rod mechanism, valve mechanism; Five systems are: starting system, lubrication system, fuel supply system, cooling system, ignition system! Diesel engine consists of two major mechanisms and five major systems besides ignition system.

2. Transmission assembly is usually composed of gearbox, transmission mechanism (gear, shaft and bearing), control mechanism (gear lever, fork shaft, etc.) and locking device, main reducer, differential and half shaft, etc.;

3. The automatic transmission is composed of torque converter, planetary gear change mechanism, actuator mechanism of brake and clutch, hydraulic control mechanism, cooling system, main reducer and differential part, sensor and control computer.

Automobile power system includes engine system and transmission system two big pieces; The crankshaft rotates under the action of external force until the engine begins to idle automatically, the whole process is called the starting of the engine. The device required to complete the starting process is called the starting system of the engine.

The power of an automobile is mainly generated by a fuel (gas) engine or an electric drive device. The power train consists of a transmission, a transmission shaft and a wheel.
